Day 4 of Bikram Yoga

Day 3, wasn’t so bad, and I think it was mostly because the heat was getting to the correct temperature so it wasn’t as stifling. Today I was back to being dizzy and light headed again. I definitely need to drink a lot of water BEFORE class starts seeing as within 5 minutes of being in the room, just during the breathing exercise, I’m dripping sweat. The second and third classes I felt were a bit easier to get through altogether, but today even though I felt really tired and dizzy I definitely felt stronger, and that I was hitting some (not all) of the postures more deeply than I had before. But overall during class I feel pissed off and have the strange desire to cry—like it’s torture. I’ve done some crazy things, but the static poses really get to me. I can do high intensity dancing for hours but the standing still and balancing and feeling acutely aware of every muscle in your body while having to verbally remind yourself to breathe, is …
